We’ve teamed up with John, assistant manager catering and events, from Andover Leisure Centre to bring you some fun, juicy, and – most importantly – easy smoothie recipes.

Smoothies are a fantastic way to help along your 5 a day, and they couldn’t be easier to make.

Make sure you always put the soft fruit in your blender before the other ingredients, to avoid it sticking.

This bright, zingy smoothie will wake you up in the morning and leave you feeling ready to face the day. Don’t worry about the carrot, as it will be too smooth to notice and the flavour won’t be overpowering.

Carrots contain vitamin A, which helps to give healthy looking skin and hair. It’s also great for children as it’s essential for bone and teeth growth.

The vitamin C from the oranges are important for keeping cells healthy, as well as healing wounds.
